Amazingly, there actually exist people who believe the Moon Landings never occurred. They somehow believe this despite the massive amount of direct and indirect evidence and the fact that a continuing coverup by at least tens of thousands of people would have been required. I personally watched the launch of Apollo 11 on July 16 1969, and later in the early 90's I even worked in the building at the Johnson Space Center that had once been the containment facility for the returning astronauts and moon rocks; there is much old hardware still remaining to prove its function. I have known many decent and reputable scientists and engineers who contributed their hearts and souls to the moon missions. Some of them have told me informally that President Kennedy's stated goal of reaching the moon within a decade was only reached because so many people worked overtime for many many hours without pay. The technology was built, how can anyone imagine that it wasn't used, and that it was all faked instead? The stupidity and arrogance of someone claiming the moon landings were faked is beyond comprehension to me, but they are out there. This page is intended to be a running log of links to their sometimes amusing stupidity.

Bart Sibrel hawks a homemade DVD which purports to prove the moon landings never occurred. His absurd claim is sufficiently amusing that he has apparently been invited to appear on the shows of Jay Leno, David Letterman, and Conan O'Brien. You can email him at bart@moonmovie.com for instructions on making tinfoil hats. |

It is absurd to hold that a man ought to be ashamed of being unable to defend himself with his limbs, but not of being unable to defend himself with speech and reason (logos), when the use of rational speech is more distinctive of a human being than the use of his limbs.
